I’ve been a drill sergeant, a Coho salmon, and a soccer mom. I am an actor who is very versatile and can become whatever the client wants. For me, it’s all in a day’s work. I’ve been part of the voiceover business for more than 20 years, but my heart has been in it for much longer. I knew from the eighth grade that I wanted to do this, when I enrolled in a correspondence school for announcers. Later I majored in "broadcasting" at Southern Illinois University. My second love and minor was Theater. My jobs have included explaining the amenities of new homes on a TV show, announcing movie theater times for phone patrons, and reading steamy romance novels for books on tape. For 10 years, I worked steadily, using my small home studio, recording narrations for a web marketing firm. I’m willing to work hard, can do an accent or two or know how to stay in a character for an extended period of time. I find voice acting to be a challenging and fun career.
